i have a question about the guide. Will it show you a way to get the final weapon and armors hidden ability, that being the ether level it needs to get it? Its the only thing im stuck on...

Well, yes and no. We can give you a general strategy, but some of them require precise timing, so you might not get it first try.

You're talking about the exact ether level for the Penultimate effect, right?

I just started the extra scenario that starts when you finish both Raze's and Ulrika's stories and I was wondering something about the bazaar. I just sold some items in the bazaar, but they didn't show up in any of the campus stores afterward. I then went into a dungeon and camped at a save point for about 20 some hours and then went back to campus and the items still were nowhere to be found. So, my question is, is it even possible to have the items you sell in the bazaar during the extra scenario appear in shops? And if so, how? Thanks for any help you offer and if the information to this question is available in the e-guide them I'm sorry I asked it here, but I simply couldn't find this information anywhere in the e-guide. Thanks again.

Wow, didn't see this question, sorry.

You're misinterpreting what it means by "next day" and "next week." If you sell something in the Bazaar, you need to end a unit of time before they appear in the store. Camping in a dungeon doesn't cause a week to pass; only Character Quests, Class Turn-ins, Bazaaring, and sleeping at the Dorm (Raze's Room or Ulrika's Room) causes the week to advance. To get the items in the Bazaar, you might need to Bazaar again.

Alternatively, the items you sold weren't popular enough to be stocked in the campus stores, or were ineligible to be stocked for some other reason.

The Wings of Icarus can only be used in areas that are outside the school (like the Learning Bridge, Calm Snowy Mountain, etc.), or areas of the school that contain monsters (the Dumpster and the Library, specifically). To activate the wings, open the menu screen, and go to your inventory; the Wings of Icarus are located on the sixth tab (the Key Items tab). Simply select the Wings, and choose "use" to teleport back to the main school map.

It's under items; you want the last tab, which should only have a handful of items listed---probably only two items, which will be the Wings of Icarus and the ring you receive from Reicher, assuming you're playing Raze's story.

I need some help clarifying exactly what some of the ether effects, both passive and active, that some of the characters have. In the guide it says "we've included synthesis tips for each character in the Characters section" but there's nothing like that in the printed guide or the e-guide. Hopefully you guys have a link with this info, or I'm just missing something terribly obvious Tongue.

Also, my printed guide doesn't have the acknowledgments/table of contents page that the e-guide does....

I'll have to let the author comment about the synthesis tips but if the printed guide is missing pages that the eGuide has, you should report that to CreateSpace.com as a defective guide and get a replacement since there aren't supposed to be any missing pages.

Hmm ... my bad, everyone.

Ultimately, there was going to be a Character Tips section, like the MK1 guide had. However, it ended up largely being a waste of space; there was content there, yes, but it was so redundant that it was pointless. It never got finished, so it didn't make it into the guide; the tag you're referring to is a note that I had left pointing to what would have been the only useful part of that section, indicating which characters were practical for getting specific ether levels.

So, yes, I need to apologize for misleading you. There are no missing pages, the guide just simply refers to a section that wasn't included in the final copy. If you're dying to have the information we were going to publish, I'll happily outline it for you in an errata thread, but otherwise this is just a blooper.

Actually that would be great if you could outline that info. It's so specific that it's hard to find anywhere else, and all I usually find is the name of the passive or active ether effect, without a description.

RE: Pubba, I will be sure to let them know they sent me a defective copy.

It'll take me a little bit to dig up, but I'll see if I can't get a text addendum in the next couple of days.
