We will be releasing an electronic update to the Disgaea 2 guide to cover the new content in Dark Hero Days (the new PSP port). There is going to be a lot of new content in this update. Check it out:

-Magichange
 Magichange 2
-Axel Mode
 Axel's Dark World Maps
-7th Tier weapon skills
 Peta level magic
-New item world features
 -New mystery portals
  Music Succubus
  Colorful/Painter (changes generic unit's colors)
  Mao (adds Magichange 2)
 -Alterations to Fortune Teller
 -Level Spheres
-Formulas;
 -Magichanage
 -New theft formula
 -New Capture Formula
-New Dark Assembly bills;
-New battles and bosses;
-New Characters;
-New Items

I withheld a bit of detail to avoid spoilers, but the complete list of new content is teetering on overload.

Because of the page count and format of the original, it will not be possible to offer a printed version (the guide before this update is already 640 pages!!). Therefore this update will be available as an eGuide only. The good news is that anyone who already bought the printed guide can get access to the updated eGuide for free.

We should have the update available in time for the game's ship date, which is 9/8/2009.

Looks like we should have a new version of the Disgaea 2 guide with Dark Hero Days content posted online by the weekend. We'd like very much to figure out how to make a printed version of this available, but there are some logistical hurdles to overcome so I'm not ready to say 100% that we can do that yet.

I also currently own the print guide for Disgaea 2, from GameStop when it launched. I also would like access to the Eguide extra data for Dark Hero Days. If the print guide does come out that would be the preferrence. Anything we can do to help the print guide come to fruition?

maybe you could just print the pages that specifically refer to Dark hero days new material that can be used with my existing book. That would be great.

I just got word that the layout artist has some personal issues to deal with which means this isn't going to make it up by the weekend.  Angry

So does this also apply to the E-guide?  For example, if I bought the current e-guide right now, will I be able to view the new material when it releases?
