Hey guys when you say "This is the exact same" I assume you mean "This is the exact same" and not "This is not the same at all." So you might want to take that into account when you post, it's caused some confusion in the past!

It's, like, my first RTS. It doesn't get super hard until the middle-ish.

I'll quote the intro to the guide.

Little King’s Story is a series of contradictions. It’s a kids’ game, meant to challenge adults; it begins in a carefree, nonsensical world and rapidly expands into a monstrous deathtrap. You are arguably the villain, bent on world conquest for no real reason, targeting drunkards, fools, and eccentrics.

It begins as an easy, seemingly inconsequential game, with simple, cartoony graphics. By the time you’ve conquered your first rival kingdom, it reveals its true colors. Little King’s Story is actually one of the most genuinely difficult games to come out this year, and will test your timing, skill, strategic capabilities, and problem-solving abilities.

As you explore Little King’s Story, expect the unexpected. Just when you think you’ve got this game’s number, it changes all the rules on you. Before you crack the seal, be ready for a serious challenge

I saw the video preview on Gametrailers a few days ago, it looks like a fun game. Though it looks more like WiiWare than a $50 game, any confirmation on its length?

If you want to clear the game 100%, it'll be about thirty-five hours long.

The people behind Little King's Story were originally apart of a little known game company called Love-de-Lic. They didn't last very long, but managed to produce three games; MOON: Remix RPG Adventure, UFO: A Day in the Life, and LOL: Lack of Love. The former 2 are for the PSX while LOL is a Dreamcast exclusive game.

The company then split into 3 separate ones. Punchline did Rule of Rose and Chulip, Vanpool did Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and Endnesia, and Skip did Giftpia, Chibi Robo and Captain Rainbow.

THEN a guy from Punchline, a guy from Vanpool, several guys from Square-Enix and one of the Harvest Moon developers joined forces to create Town Factory, which made Little King's Story.

Despite the split, there are some commonalities between the four. The garbled language that you hear in Little King's Story originated in MOON: Remix RPG Adventure, and can also be heard in Chulip, Captain Rainbow, Giftpia, Endnesia, and Chibi Robo. Also, one of the developers of MOON incorporated his dog Tao into the game. Tao also appears in Captain Rainbow, Chibi Robo and Giftpia. The Love = Life system of gameplay in Chulip also originated in MOON. Plus, the overall weirdness of the games' plot/characters was a staple of Love-de-Lic's style.
