Ive been going at this over 8 hours and i cant get anything over 5000 surt. I have Marjoly and Priere. My main character is a lvl 2200 DM. I have 7 lvl 3900 Flambergs, one lvl 4686, two lvl 5472 and 7(!) lvl 5000 surts.

In addition to all that, i have 93 lvl 1 characters(larharl lvl 500) to absorb the SP explosion. I can not get anything over 6k+ at all!!

I always move my DM back into my base then throw with a lvl 1.

The surt is always between 1-10k HP(cant get him much lower without killing him)

What am i doing wrong?? please help! Ive read people doing getting a 9999 in 2hrs or less but the random explosion thing is just absurd.

Even when i had 2 lvl 5000 surts and all my flambergs at 3900 i tried to cap a lvl 4000 surt and failed. This is incredibly frustrating.

Any help with this issue would be great. I need a steal bot before i go for the yoshitsuna and dont want to lvl a theif.

try this:

Go to CoO with maxed enemy level, weaken the blue space demon to critical without killing it, combine all enemies together, then toss it into the base. If you capture it, you have a very powerful "base defender" for surts.
