After being unhappy at not having enough HL to afford all the Illegal Tickets in the Rott shop, I decided to risk it and sell a ticket back that I had just bought from the seller and see if I'd still get the level opened. I did! So once the ticket is in your possession it's a done deal. You don't need to keep it. Sell it right back for half your money back!

Out of curiousity, does he sell the tickets you sell to him back to you? So if for some reason you later wanted all the tickets just for completeness sakes? Nice trick though btw should help alot.

Sorry for resurrecting a necrotic thread, but there seems to be a big problem with selling the tickets back.

If you go to a new cycle, does the game 'remember' that you once had the ticket for a few seconds, or only sees the tickets you currently possess for unlocking the X-D maps?  It'd suck if you then had to find the Rott shop AGAIN in the Item World to re-buy the ticket.

I think I would have remembered something like that happening, plus I think folks would have complained by now if that were the case. Are you going to test it? My save files are long gone or I would.

Ok... that's weird.

I made a new savefile, sold all my Tickets, and started a new cycle.  I was in postgame.

Oddly enough, though the X-Dimension samurai said I only had one stage unlocked, the LoC ship was still there to allow access.

But when I started ANOTHER new cycle, the LoC ship disappeared.
