I'm confused! Obviously the only game worth preordering these days is Warhammer: Online!

I... don't know about that.

If they let you have access to that much of the alchemy system that early, the game would be a super-cakewalk. The first couple chapters are going to be kind of boring with your classes, but once you get around chapter four the game really picks up, and in a big way.

You're being generous. I found my replay boring as hell until I got to the end of Chapter 6. Sad

It was nice enough the first time around since it makes clear the differences between MK and previous Atelier, which are more extensive than they seem at first blush.

I picked up the game + guide today during my lunch break. Glad to see the closest GameStop actually stocked a few of the guides this time around (still haven't seen an Afternoon of Darkness guide anywhere, hopefully I can order it when I get home).

I love the 'Study exciting charts!' tagline on the back of the guide Smiley

God I forgot how much I love tinkering with *poop*.  Looks like Gust finally figured out what the hell they did right in AI1 and got back on track.

Somebody in Japan needs to staple the design plans for this game to the project lead's forehead at Gust studios so they don't try to make a game about the combat ever again.
