After actually SEEING the Yamato Cannon in action, I do believe the direct translation would have been funnier.


But all things considered, including name-space restraints, Yamato Cannon does a good job there.


And the animation is very cheesy.  In a good way/Bahamut ZERO fashion.

Which brings me to wonder.  What's fusion bomb look like?
