You can still hit the original fortress if you want.  If you don't, you just won't get the 20,000 mana it gives.  Although once you start doing high level buildings, that 20,000 is a drop in the bucket to the potential millionish you'll be getting.

I just attack Zetta to spread the Pandora Force effect throughout the field.  Saves me the headache of alligning all those attacks.

Quote
or how would the boosing of mana work for killing your own buildings? Also what is the difference between mana gain using a high level hut and the same level outpost or fortress?

It's the same as any other enemy building. The only difference being, you don't get Exp for destroying your own building.

The Mana gain factor for a Hut is 22
The Mana gain factor for a an Outpost Tent is 25
The Mana gain for a Fortress is 30

They still pale when compared to that of the Castle and Super Fortress which have Mana gain factors of 35.

Does this mean the most you could get in 1 run of 3-4 would be 52.5 million mana then?   Shocked Shocked

The highest total you can conceivably get in a single run through of 3-4, with Lv 9999 Super Fortresses is 5.25 million mana. Which curiously enough pays for 1 Super Fortress all by itself. Since they cost a max of 5 million O_o

Sweet, I was just going to go do this, or start by finding boxes. Somehow I already had 3 of them.

What's the formula using the mana gained when kill and the building level to calculate how much mana total it's worth? Like, using 35 mana gained when killed and lv 119/139, how'd you come up with 416?

Instead of worrying about the set-up, just create 6 mimics and equip them with stuf flike Overfiend Orbs to boost their Res.

If you must, just buy the highest rank hats you can buy from your store. Because they're all at level 1, they won't damage Zetta if you attack him with Pandora Box. They most likely won't hurt themselves either. Aim 6 at Zetta each turn and they'll never gain a level because the bonus list will be completely broken.

MUCH MUCH easier than setting things up IMO.

oh yeah good idea.  Ill have to reincarnate my dudes, they got up to like lvl 20 cuz they were gaining bonus xp so they were killing themselves attacking zetta.
....GOD...they all have zero mana...now i gotta go have them kill stuff otherwise making new level 1 noobs would take longer to get their skills in boxes up...

Eventually you can solve this problem by giving your boxers enough res in their growth when you reincarnate that they won't ever damage themselves (High res equip will help too until their res growth is enough).
